Working at Sparx is always fast paced and exciting. It’s challenging, but always extremely rewarding getting to see the real life impact of the work we’re doing.
When I was working on my doctorate, I did a lot of teaching, and so when I completed that, I started looking for a role that would allow me to combine scientific research with the aspects of tutoring that I enjoyed the most. Working at Sparx lets me do both, in a field where we are making a real difference.
What I do when I am not at Sparx
When I’m not working, you’ll find me at a music gig. I can’t think of anything better than being in a muddy field at Glastonbury. I also love cycling on Dartmoor, and taking part in triathlons; I completed my first Ironman 70.3 distance race in 2015, and can’t wait to do another one!
